Cholesterol is a fat (lipid) which is produced by by the liver and is essential for body functions, in normal conditions. Cholesterol is naturally present in cell walls, like: nerve, brain, muscle, liver, intestines, skin, and heart. Below the normal circumstances cholesterol has function as the builder and guardian of the cell membrane, helps the production of bile, involved in the production of sex hormones.

But, how if somebody has too much cholesterol in the bloodstream, they will easily get coronary artery heart, the arteries to the brain, and arteries that supplies blood to the legs. There’s a natural alternative to help us who get high cholesterol. There are various fruit which were useful for somebody who has high cholesterol. Like:




Avocado - As we know that avocados are rich in fat. No wonder if the fruit is always avoided, but avocados are excellent for lowering cholesterol. This fruit contains unsaturated fatty acids that are good for lowering bad cholesterol.



Blueberry - Fruit blueberries may be used as one of alternative medicine in lowering cholesterol in our bodies. Because the study conducted by experts in the United States by using rodents provide satisfactory results in lowering cholesterol.



Apple – This fruit is one of very famous fruit which rich in fiber and antioxidants, even rich of Vitamin C. Apples can also used in lowering cholesterol. Apples should be eaten with the skin, because the apple skin is contain pectin (soluble fiber are very potent in lowering cholesterol levels) and high antioxidants as well.
